How to Enable Backups with Your Server Provider
Even if you have set up backups for your apps and databases, you should also enable server backups with your server provider.
DigitalOcean
To enable server backups with DigitalOcean, open your server in DigitalOcean and select Backups.
Then, click Enable Backups.
To restore from a backup, select the backup you wish to restore and click Restore.
Your restored server will automatically reconnect to ServerPilot once it comes online.
Linode
To enable server backups with Linode, log in to Linode and pick the server from your list of servers.
Click Enable beneath the Backups column.
On the next screen, click Enable Backups for This Linode. Then, set the time and day to run your weekly backup.
When you restore from a Linode backup, your restored server will automatically reconnect to ServerPilot once it comes online.
