Troubleshoot AutoSSL issues

DNS can’t be resolved

If AutoSSL is reporting “This domain’s DNS can’t be resolved”, ensure you have created a DNS record at your DNS provider. It’s also possible the DNS record hasn’t propagated to the public DNS servers.

Domain authorization failed

If AutoSSL is reporting “Authorization for this domain failed”, it’s possible the server’s firewall or a third-party service such as Cloudflare is blocking the connection.

Learn how to configure Cloudflare to allow AutoSSL domain authorization requests.
