Use the VaultPress plugin in WordPress

VaultPress is a popular commercial WordPress backup plugin. In addition to backups and restores, you can use VaultPress to migrate WordPress apps.

Install VaultPress

Note

VaultPress is sold as part of the Jetpack Security bundle.

1. Purchase a license for VaultPress.
   • Go to the Jetpack pricing page.
   • In the Security bundle box, click Get.
   • Complete the checkout process.
2. Log into your WordPress dashboard.
3. Click on Plugins in the sidebar.
4. Click Add new plugin.
5. Search for “VaultPress” in the Search plugins box.
6. Click Install.
7. Click Activate.
8. Enter your registration key when prompted. Your registration key will be in the receipt you received when you purchased the Jetpack Security bundle. Alternatively, go to the Jetpack purchases page and find the key in the Backups and security scanning API key field.
9. Click Register.

VaultPress will connect to the VaultPress servers and immediately start your first backup.
