Available MySQL Versions

The MySQL version available on a server is determined by the server's Ubuntu release as shown in the table below.

Many server providers do not offer Ubuntu versions that are past their end of life. For older Ubuntu versions, you can still create servers using Ubuntu LTS Pro images at Google Cloud.

16.04 LTS ServerPilot no longer supports connecting new servers running Ubuntu 16.04.	MySQL 5.7
14.04 LTS ServerPilot no longer supports connecting new servers running Ubuntu 14.04.	MySQL 5.5
